Notes
Tasting Notes
Sangria Blanco offers a refreshing and crisp flavor profile that balances sweetness with bright acidity. The white wine base gives a light, clean foundation for the fruit flavors to shine.
The first sip delivers a cool, fruity sensation with notes of apple, peach, and citrus at the forefront. The brandy or triple sec adds a subtle infusion.
A gentle sweetness comes from the added sugar and fruit juices, but it’s not overwhelming. The drink keeps a pleasant tartness.
Flavor Components:
- Primary: Crisp white wine, fresh citrus
- Secondary: Stone fruits, apple
- Finishing notes: Light brandy warmth, honey sweetness
Added sparkling water creates a lively mouthfeel with tiny bubbles that dance on the tongue. This effervescence makes the drink extra refreshing.
Chill the sangria to 38-45°F for the best flavor. Cooler temperatures keep the flavors bright and distinct.
The finish is clean with a gentle lingering of fruit essence. Unlike red sangria, the white version leaves little tannin sensation.
Sangria Blanco tastes best when the fruits have had 1-2 hours to infuse but still maintain their fresh character.
