Ingredients

  • 2 oz white rum
  • 1 oz blue curacao
  • 1 oz Chambord or other berry liqueur
  • 1 oz fresh lime or lemon juice
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • 2 oz Sprite club soda, or ginger ale
  • Optional: Few drops purple food coloring for a dramatic look
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Chill your martini glass (optional but recommended).
  • Fill the cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add the white rum, blue curacao, Chambord, lime/lemon juice, and simple syrup.
  • Shake well (about 15 seconds) until thoroughly chilled.
  • Strain into your prepared martini glass or punch bowl filled with ice.
  • Top with Sprite, club soda, or ginger ale.
  • Stir gently to keep the bubbles intact.
  • Add a couple drops of purple food coloring, if using, and stir to intensify the color.
