Ingredients

For 8 servings, gather:

  • 3 cups fresh tangerine juice about 12-15 tangerines
  • 1 cup ginger beer
  • 1/2 cup vodka
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 cup club soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Tangerine slices and fresh mint for garnish

Fresh juice makes a big difference in taste. If tangerines aren't available, substitute with orange juice.

Instructions

  • Juice the tangerines and limes. Strain to remove pulp and seeds.
  • In a large pitcher, mix tangerine juice, ginger beer, vodka, lime juice, and honey. Stir until honey dissolves.
  • Chill the mixture in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
  • Just before serving, add club soda and stir gently.
  • Fill glasses with ice. Pour the punch over ice.
  • Garnish each glass with a tangerine slice and mint sprig.

Serve right away to keep the drink fizzy and cold.

    Notes

    This recipe is easy to adjust. For a non-alcoholic version, skip the vodka and add more ginger beer.
    To make it sweeter, add more honey. For extra tang, increase the lime juice.
    Prepare the juice mixture ahead of time, but add the club soda just before serving to keep it bubbly.
    For best flavor, use ripe tangerines and fresh ginger beer.
