  • Sharp knife

  • Wine glasses
  • Citrus juicer

Ingredients

  • 2 bottles dry red wine 750ml each
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 1/4 cup triple sec
  • 2 oranges sliced
  • 2 lemons sliced
  • 2 limes sliced
  • 2 peaches cut into wedges
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries halved
  • 1 green apple diced
  • 2 cups club soda
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup

Ice cubes for serving

Instructions

  • Add the sliced fruits to a large pitcher.
  • Pour the wine, brandy, and triple sec over the fruit.
  • Stir in the simple syrup until well combined.
  • Let the mixture chill in the refrigerator for 4-6 hours.
  • Add the club soda just before serving.
  • Fill wine glasses with ice and pour the sangria mixture.
  • Make sure to include some fruit in each glass when serving.

Notes

Choose a medium-bodied Spanish red wine like Rioja or Tempranillo.
The sangria can be made up to 24 hours in advance without the club soda.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
Adjust the simple syrup amount based on the sweetness of the fruits used.
Replace club soda with lemon-lime soda for a sweeter drink.
For a non-alcoholic version, use grape juice instead of wine and skip the brandy.
