Double strain into a Collins glass filled with fresh ice.
Top with soda water (about 2-3 oz).
Garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig and lemon wheel.
Notes
The drink works best with fresh rosemary, as dried herbs won't release enough oils.Keep the muddling gentle to avoid bitter flavors from the rosemary.Store leftover simple syrup in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. For a stronger rosemary flavor, infuse the vodka with rosemary for 24 hours before using. This recipe makes one serving. Double or triple the ingredients to serve more guests.
