  • Bar spoon
  • Fine-mesh strainer

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice

  • Extra raspberries for garnish

Instructions

  • Pour vodka and fresh lime juice into the shaker with the muddled raspberries.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
  • Fill a copper mule mug with fresh ice cubes.
  • Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into the mug to remove raspberry seeds.
  • Top with ginger beer and stir gently with a bar spoon.
  • Garnish with fresh mint and extra raspberries.

Notes

The drink tastes best with fresh raspberries, but frozen ones work in a pinch. Just thaw them first.
Using a copper mug keeps the drink extra cold and adds to the traditional presentation.
Make sure to use real ginger beer instead of ginger ale for the best flavor. Ginger beer has a stronger taste.
Store leftover fresh raspberries in the fridge for up to 3 days.
