Equipment

  • Champagne flute or wine glass
  • Jigger or measuring cup
  • Bar spoon
  • Ice bucket
  • Citrus zester

Ingredients

  • 2 oz pomegranate juice
  • 4 oz prosecco
  • 1 oz soda water
  • Orange peel for garnish
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon pomegranate seeds

Instructions

  • Fill the champagne flute with ice cubes to chill the glass. Let it sit for 1 minute, then empty.
  • Pour the pomegranate juice into the chilled glass.
  • Add the prosecco slowly by tilting the glass and pouring down the side. This helps keep the bubbles.
  • Top with soda water.
  • Gently stir with a bar spoon to mix everything.
  • Twist an orange peel over the drink to release its oils. Use it as a garnish.

Notes

Fresh pomegranate juice gives the best flavor. Avoid concentrate if possible.
Chill all ingredients before mixing for the most refreshing drink.
For extra flair, float a few pomegranate seeds in the drink. They will bob up and down with the bubbles.
You can double or triple this recipe for parties. Mix the pomegranate juice and prosecco in a pitcher, then top each glass with soda water.
