Equipment

  • Large pitcher or punch bowl
  • Wooden spoon or muddler
  • Sharp knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Champagne flutes or wine glasses

Ingredients

For 6-8 servings:

  • 4 ripe peaches sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh thyme sprigs
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup peach schnapps
  • 1 bottle 750 ml prosecco, chilled
  • 2 cups club soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Extra peach slices and thyme sprigs for garnish

Use yellow or white peaches. Pick peaches that give slightly when squeezed for the best flavor. You can swap the honey for simple syrup if you prefer.

Instructions

  • Wash the peaches and thyme. Slice the peaches.
  • Put peach slices, thyme sprigs, and honey in the pitcher. Muddle gently to release the juices and oils.
  • Add peach schnapps and stir.
  • Pour in the prosecco and club soda. Stir carefully to mix.
  • Add ice to the pitcher.
  • Pour into glasses and garnish with peach slices and thyme sprigs.

Serve right away while the drink is cold and bubbly.

    Notes

Make this punch up to an hour before serving. Add the prosecco and club soda just before guests arrive to keep it fizzy.
For a non-alcoholic version, use peach nectar instead of schnapps and swap the prosecco for more club soda or sparkling cider.
You can strain out the muddled fruit and herbs if you prefer a smoother drink.
This recipe is easy to scale up for bigger parties. Just keep the ratios the same.
