Ingredients

  • 2 oz aged rum
  • 1 oz fresh peach nectar
  • 3/4 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 2-3 oz club soda
  • Fresh peach slice for garnish
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: 2-3 mint leaves

Instructions

  • Fill the cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add rum, peach nectar, lime juice, and simple syrup to the shaker.
  • Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds until well chilled.
  • Fill a highball glass with fresh ice.
  • Strain the mixture into the glass using a fine mesh strainer.
  • Top with club soda and gently stir with a bar spoon.
  • Garnish with a fresh peach slice and mint leaves if desired.

Notes

The drink tastes best with fresh peach nectar. Store-bought nectar works too, but check the sugar content and adjust the simple syrup amount.
Fresh lime juice makes a big difference in taste compared to bottled juice.
Store simple syrup in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
For a non-alcoholic version, replace rum with peach tea or additional peach nectar.
