This light and refreshing drink combines sweet peaches with calming lavender for a perfect alcohol-free beverage. The recipe takes 10 minutes to make and serves 4 people.

  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Small saucepan
  • Wooden spoon
  • 4 Tall glasses
  • Ice cube tray
  • Blender

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches pitted and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 cups water
  • 4 cups sparkling water
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Fresh lavender sprigs for garnish
  • Peach slices for garnish

Instructions

  • Add water and dried lavender to a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and strain the lavender syrup. Then, stir in honey until dissolved. Let cool completely.
  • Next, blend peach slices until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh strainer to remove pulp.
  • In a large pitcher, mix the peach puree with the lavender syrup.
  • After that, add sparkling water and stir gently to combine.
  • Fill glasses with ice cubes. Then, pour the mixture into each glass.
  • Finally, garnish with fresh lavender sprigs and peach slices.

Notes

Store leftover lavender syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Make sure to use culinary lavender, not decorative or fragrance varieties.
For a sweeter drink, add more honey to taste.
Replace fresh peaches with frozen peaches when fresh ones aren't in season.
