Notes

This recipe can be easily doubled or tripled for a small gathering. Prep the peach and mint mix ahead, but wait to add bourbon and ice until just before serving.
For a non-alcoholic version, swap bourbon for cold black tea and add a dash of vanilla extract. It’s surprisingly close in flavor, minus the booze.
The drink pairs well with grilled foods, especially pork and chicken. I think it also makes a nice pre-dinner cocktail during warm months.
For best results, use peaches at their peak ripeness. They should give a little when pressed and smell fragrant—too firm and they're underripe, too soft and they're past their prime.
