  • 1/2 oz agave nectar
  • 2 oz club soda

  • Grapefruit wedge for garnish
  • Ice cubes

  • Add tequila, grapefruit juice, lime juice, passionfruit puree, and agave nectar to a cocktail shaker.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.

Notes

Fresh juices make the best cocktails. Squeeze grapefruits and limes right before mixing for optimal flavor.
Store-bought passionfruit puree works well, but check that it contains no added sugar. If using sweetened puree, reduce or skip the agave nectar.
The drink can be made spicier by adding a few drops of hot sauce or muddling fresh jalapeño.
Keep ingredients cold for the best results. Chill the tequila and club soda before mixing.
