Equipment

  • Large pitcher (64 oz or larger)
  • Long-handled spoon for stirring
  • Sharp knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Wine opener
  • Glasses for serving

Ingredients

For 6-8 servings:

  • 1 bottle 750 ml white wine (Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc work well)
  • 1 cup mango juice
  • 1/2 cup passionfruit juice
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup
  • 1 mango diced
  • 1 orange sliced
  • 1 lime sliced
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries halved
  • 2 cups sparkling water
  • Ice cubes

Use ripe, juicy fruit for the best flavor. Feel free to swap in other tropical fruits you enjoy.

Instructions

  • In a large pitcher, mix the white wine, mango juice, passionfruit juice, and simple syrup.
  • Add the diced mango, orange slices, lime slices, and strawberries to the pitcher.
  • Stir gently to combine all ingredients.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to 8 hours to let the flavors blend.
  • Just before serving, add the sparkling water and stir.
  • Fill glasses with ice and pour in the sangria. Make sure to include some fruit in each glass.

Garnish with extra fruit slices if desired. Enjoy!

    Notes

This sangria tastes best when made a few hours ahead. The fruit soaks up the wine flavors.
For a stronger drink, add 1/2 cup of rum or brandy.
To make a non-alcoholic version, replace the wine with white grape juice.
Leftovers keep in the fridge for up to 2 days. The fruit may get mushy after that.
For best results, use fresh fruit juices instead of bottled ones.
