Equipment

  • A cocktail shaker
  • A muddler.
  • A jigger or measuring cup
  • A tall glass
  • A strainer
  • A bar spoon
  • A knife for cutting limes

Ingredients

For one Lime Coconut Mojito, gather:

  • 2 oz white rum
  • 1 oz coconut cream
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 6-8 fresh mint leaves
  • 2 oz club soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime wedge and mint sprig for garnish

Use fresh ingredients for the best taste. The coconut cream adds a creamy texture and tropical flavor. Adjust the simple syrup to your desired sweetness level.

Instructions

  • In a cocktail shaker, add mint leaves and lime juice. Muddle gently to release mint oils.
  • Add rum, coconut cream, and simple syrup. Fill with ice.
  • Shake well for 10-15 seconds.
  • Strain into a tall glass filled with ice.
  • Top with club soda and stir gently.
  • Garnish with a lime wedge and mint sprig.

Serve right away to enjoy the drink at its freshest. The coconut cream may settle, so give it a quick stir before sipping.

    Notes

This recipe can be easily doubled or tripled for a group. For a mocktail version, replace the rum with coconut water or more club soda.
Store leftover coconut cream in the fridge for up to a week. Shake well before each use.
For a frozen version, blend all ingredients except club soda with crushed ice. Pour into a glass and top with club soda.
Experiment with flavored rums or add a splash of pineapple juice for extra tropical flair.
