  • Collins glass
  • Bar spoon

  • Ice cubes

  • Fresh lavender sprig
  • Lime wheel

Instructions

  • Fill the cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
  • Add tequila, fresh lime juice, and lavender simple syrup to the shaker.
  • Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds until well chilled.
  • Strain the mixture through both strainers into a Collins glass filled with ice.
  • Top with club soda (about 2-3 oz).
  • Gently stir with a bar spoon to combine.
  • Add garnishes of choice.

Notes

The lavender simple syrup can be made ahead by combining equal parts sugar and water with 2 tablespoons dried lavender buds. Heat until the sugar dissolves, then strain and cool.
Store the lavender syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
For a mocktail version, replace tequila with additional club soda and a splash of lime juice.
The drink works best with silver (blanco) tequila to let the lavender and lime flavors shine through.
