Equipment

  • Blender or food processor
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Strainer
  • Muddler or wooden spoon
  • Ice cube tray
  • Tall glasses
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Knife and cutting board

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe kiwis peeled and chopped
  • 2 ripe passionfruits
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 2 cups sparkling water
  • Ice cubes
  • Mint leaves and kiwi slices for garnish

Fresh, ripe fruits give the best flavor. Simple syrup adds sweetness, and coconut water provides a tropical touch. Meanwhile, sparkling water adds fizz, and garnishes make the drink look pretty.

Instructions

  • Blend kiwis until smooth.
  • Cut passionfruits in half and scoop out pulp.
  • In a shaker, muddle passionfruit pulp.
  • Add kiwi puree, lime juice, and simple syrup to the shaker.
  • Fill shaker with ice and shake well for 15 seconds.
  • Strain mixture into tall glasses filled with ice.
  • Top with coconut water and sparkling water.
  • Stir gently to mix.
  • Garnish with mint leaves and kiwi slices.
  • Serve right away while cold and fizzy.

This recipe makes 2-3 servings.

    Notes

For a stronger fruit flavor, use less sparkling water. To make it sweeter, add more simple syrup. For a smoother drink, strain the kiwi puree before adding it to the shaker.
Make sure all ingredients are well-chilled before mixing. This helps keep the drink cold without watering it down. Leftover mocktail can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours, but it may lose some fizz.
