Notes

The hibiscus syrup can be made at home by steeping dried hibiscus flowers in hot simple syrup for 15 minutes. Strain and cool before using.
Store leftover hibiscus syrup in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
For a less sweet version, reduce the hibiscus syrup to 3/4 oz or add an extra splash of lime juice.
Choose a quality silver tequila - the clean taste works best with the floral notes.
