Ingredients

  • 2 oz gin
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz guava nectar
  • 0.5 oz ginger syrup
  • 2-3 fresh mint leaves
  • Club soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime wheel and mint sprig for garnish

Instructions

  • Fill a Collins glass with ice cubes and set aside.
  • Add gin, lime juice, guava nectar, and ginger syrup to a cocktail shaker.
  • Add 2-3 mint leaves to the shaker and gently muddle.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake for 10-12 seconds.
  • Strain the mixture into the prepared Collins glass.
  • Top with club soda and stir gently with a bar spoon.
  • Garnish with a lime wheel and fresh mint sprig.

Notes

The drink works best with fresh lime juice rather than bottled. Store-bought ginger syrup is fine, but homemade adds better flavor.
Keep guava nectar refrigerated after opening. It stays fresh for about 7 days.
For a non-alcoholic version, replace gin with extra guava nectar and club soda.
The cocktail pairs well with spicy foods and tropical appetizers.
