Equipment

  • Blender
  • Ice cube trays
  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Freezer-safe container
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Large spoon for stirring
  • Wine glasses for serving

Ingredients

  • 1 750 ml bottle rosé wine
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • Fresh strawberries for garnish optional

Instructions

  • Pour the rosé wine into ice cube trays and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  • Add frozen rosé cubes to a blender with fresh strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice.
  • Blend until smooth and slushy. Add regular ice cubes if needed to reach desired consistency.
  • Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer to remove any strawberry seeds.
  • Serve the frosé in chilled wine glasses.
  • Garnish with fresh strawberries if desired.

Notes

Make sure to use a dry rosé wine for the best results.
The mixture might separate after sitting. Just give it a quick stir before drinking.
Store leftovers in the freezer for up to 24 hours.
The drink will be quite strong at first, so let it melt slightly for better flavor balance.
You can adjust the sugar amount based on the sweetness of your strawberries and wine.
