Equipment

  • Champagne flutes
  • Measuring cups or jiggers
  • A spoon for stirring.
  • A pitcher (if making a larger batch)
  • Ice bucket (optional)

Ingredients

For each cocktail, you'll need:

  • 2 oz cranberry juice
  • 2 oz pomegranate juice
  • 4 oz chilled champagne or sparkling wine
  • Fresh cranberries and pomegranate seeds for garnish

Use 100% juices for the best flavor. Pick a dry champagne or prosecco to balance the sweet juices.

Instructions

Chill all ingredients before starting.

  • Pour 2 oz each of cranberry and pomegranate juice into a champagne flute.
  • Gently add 4 oz of cold champagne. Pour slowly to keep the bubbles.
  • Stir lightly with a spoon to mix.
  • Drop in a few fresh cranberries and pomegranate seeds.
  • Serve right away while it's cold and bubbly.
  • For a big batch, mix juices in a pitcher. Add champagne just before serving.

Notes

This recipe is easy to adjust. Use more juice for a stronger fruit flavor, or more champagne for a drier drink.
You can swap out the juices. Try orange or grapefruit for a different twist.
Non-alcoholic version: Use sparkling water or ginger ale instead of champagne.
Make sure to serve in chilled glasses to keep the drink cold longer. Garnish with citrus slices for extra flair.
