  • Small saucepan (for simple syrup)
  • Fine-mesh strainer

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cranberry juice 100% juice, not cocktail
  • 2 cups sparkling water or club soda
  • 1/2 cup cinnamon simple syrup
  • 2 fresh limes juiced
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh cranberries for garnish
  • Cinnamon sticks for garnish

For Cinnamon Simple Syrup:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 cinnamon sticks

Instructions

Make the cinnamon simple syrup:

  • Combine water, sugar, and cinnamon sticks in a small saucepan
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes
  • Remove from heat and let cool completely
  • Strain and store in an airtight container

Mix the mocktail:

  • Fill pitcher with ice
  • Pour in cranberry juice and lime juice
  • Add cinnamon simple syrup
  • Stir well to combine

Serve:

  • Fill glasses with ice
  • Pour mixture into glasses, leaving room for sparkling water
  • Top with sparkling water
  • Garnish with fresh cranberries and cinnamon sticks

Notes

Store leftover cinnamon simple syrup in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Make a big batch for parties by doubling or tripling the recipe.
For a less sweet version, reduce the amount of simple syrup or use unsweetened cranberry juice.
Keep sparkling water separate until serving to maintain carbonation.
