Equipment

  • Copper mug (or sturdy glass)
  • Jigger or small measuring cup
  • Cocktail shaker (optional)
  • Long stirrer or spoon
  • Citrus juicer
  • Ice cube tray
  • Small grater
  • Sharp knife
  • Cutting Board

Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz maple syrup
  • 2 oz apple cider
  • 3-4 oz ginger beer
  • 1 small cinnamon stick plus more for garnish
  • ice cubes
  • ground nutmeg pinch, optional
  • bitters dash, optional
  • cloves 1–2, optional

Instructions

  • Fill your copper mug or glass with ice cubes.
  • Pour in vodka, lime juice, and maple syrup.
  • Add apple cider and the cinnamon stick (plus clove if using).
  • Stir well, then top with ginger beer.
  • Add bitters and nutmeg on top if you like.
  • Garnish with a cinnamon stick or lime wedge. Enjoy immediately while cold and fizzy.

Notes

Any glass works if you don't have a copper mug. Reuse cinnamon stick for a second round if it still smells good. Adjust sweetness by adding or reducing maple syrup. Use spicy ginger beer for the best kick. Add more vodka for a stronger drink or more ginger beer/cider for a lighter sip. Keep it extra cold with plenty of ice.
