  • Muddler
  • Ice
  • Copper mug or tall glass
  • Strainer
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Citrus juicer (optional)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup

  • Add vodka, carrot juice, lime juice, and simple syrup to a shaker with ice.
  • Shake well for 10-15 seconds to chill and combine.
  • Strain into the prepared mug or glass.
  • Top with ginger beer and stir gently.
  • Garnish with a carrot ribbon and lime wheel.
  • Serve right away and enjoy!

The bright orange color and fresh flavors make this a fun twist on a classic mule cocktail.

    Notes

You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup. For a non-alcoholic version, skip the vodka and add more carrot juice and ginger beer.
Try using different spirits like gin or tequila instead of vodka. You can also add herbs like mint or basil for extra flavor.
Make sure to use fresh lime juice - it tastes much better than bottled. This recipe is easy to scale up to make a pitcher for parties.
