  • Tall glasses
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Ice cube tray
  • Knife and cutting board

Ingredients

For 4 servings, gather:

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 2 cups lemon-lime soda

Using fresh ingredients will give the best flavor to your mocktail.

Instructions

  • Blend 1 1/2 cups blueberries with lemon juice, honey, and water until smooth.
  • Strain the mixture into a pitcher to remove any seeds or pulp.
  • In a cocktail shaker, muddle the mint leaves gently.
  • Add the blueberry mixture and ice to the shaker. Shake well for 15-20 seconds.
  • Fill tall glasses with ice cubes.
  • Strain the shaken mixture into the glasses, filling them about 2/3 full.
  • Top off each glass with lemon-lime soda.
  • Stir gently to mix.
  • Garnish with fresh blueberries and a sprig of mint.

Serve right away for the best taste and fizz.

    Notes

For a stronger blueberry flavor, use frozen blueberries instead of fresh.
You can make the blueberry base ahead of time and store it in the fridge for up to 2 days.
For a sweeter drink, add more honey or use a sweet lemon-lime soda.
To make this mocktail look extra festive, rim the glasses with blue sugar before serving.
For a grown-up version, add a splash of vodka or gin to each glass before topping with soda.
