Ingredients

• 2 oz vodka
• 1 oz fresh lemon juice
• 1 oz simple syrup
• 1/2 oz blue curaçao
• 4 oz cold water
• Ice cubes
• Lemon wheel for garnish
• Fresh mint sprig for garnish

Instructions

• Fill the cocktail shaker halfway with ice.
• Add vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup, and blue curaçao to the shaker.
• Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds until well chilled.
• Fill a Collins glass with fresh ice cubes.
• Strain the mixture into the glass.
• Top with cold water and stir gently with a bar spoon.
• Garnish with a lemon wheel and mint sprig.

Notes

The drink can be made in larger batches for parties. Multiply the ingredients by the number of servings needed.

Store any leftover cocktail mixture in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

For a mocktail version, replace vodka with lemon-lime soda and use blue raspberry syrup instead of blue curaçao.

Add more or less simple syrup to adjust sweetness to taste.
