Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Jigger or measuring tool
  • Strainer
  • Martini or coupe glass
  • Small plate for shredded coconut
  • Bar spoon
  • Ice cubes

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz bourbon or tequila
  • 1 oz white chocolate liqueur
  • 0.5 oz blue curaçao
  • 0.5 oz coconut cream or coconut milk
  • 0.25 oz simple syrup or to taste
  • 0.5 oz Cointreau or other orange liqueur
  • 0.25 oz lime juice fresh
  • Shredded coconut for rim
  • Edible glitter optional for garnish
  • Ice cubes for shaking

Instructions

  • Chill your glass in the freezer. Rub rim with lime juice and dip in shredded coconut.
  • Fill shaker with ice. Add bourbon or tequila, white chocolate liqueur, blue curaçao, coconut cream, simple syrup, Cointreau, and lime juice.
  • Shake hard for 15 seconds until very cold and frothy.
  • Strain into the prepared glass. Sprinkle on edible glitter if desired.

Notes

For lighter texture, use coconut milk instead of cream. Add extra lime juice for more citrus. Serve in a coupe for best garnish. More white chocolate liqueur makes it richer and more dessert-like.
