  • Cutting Board
  • Citrus juicer
  • Ladle
  • Heatproof mugs or glasses
  • Small saucepan
  • Fine-mesh strainer

Ingredients

  • 3 cups apple cider
  • 2 cups cranberry juice
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup pear cider
  • 1 cup spiced rum
  • 0.5 cup dark rum
  • 0.5 cup triple sec
  • 0.5 cup simple syrup or brown sugar syrup
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 2 star anise
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1 cup ginger ale add before serving
  • orange slices and cranberries for garnish

Instructions

  • Pour all fruit juices and cider into a large pot or punch bowl.
  • Add rums, triple sec, and syrup; stir to combine.
  • Add spices: cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  • Warm gently over low heat (optional), or chill for cold punch.
  • Just before serving, add ginger ale for sparkle.
  • Garnish with orange slices and cranberries; ladle into glasses.

Notes

Taste before adding more sugar—juices can be sweet enough. Simmer with spices for stronger flavor, or chill with fruit for a cold punch. Add more juice or ginger ale to adjust strength or sweetness.
