Ingredients

  • 1 bottle red wine 750ml, Spanish Rioja or Garnacha preferred
  • 1 cup brandy
  • 0.5 cup orange juice
  • 0.25 cup lime juice
  • 1 orange sliced
  • 1 pear sliced
  • 1 apple sliced
  • 0.5 cup pomegranate seeds or cranberries
  • 0.5 cup berries blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 3-4 cloves
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar or honey
  • 1 cup club soda add before serving

Instructions

  • Slice apples, pears, oranges, and any additional fruit.
  • Add sliced fruit, berries, and pomegranate seeds or cranberries to a large punch bowl.
  • Pour in red wine and brandy.
  • Add orange juice and lime juice.
  • Drop in cinnamon sticks, cloves, and rosemary sprigs.
  • Stir in brown sugar or honey until dissolved.
  • Chill in the fridge for 2–4 hours to allow flavors to blend.
  • Before serving, add club soda for fizz.
  • Serve cold in wine glasses, ensuring each glass gets some fruit.

Notes

Use fruity, medium-bodied red wine for best results. Adjust sweetness with more sugar or honey. Add brandy for extra kick or swap with orange liqueur. Chill before serving to enhance flavors. Add club soda just before serving to keep the fizz.
