Ingredients

fresh watermelon cubes

silver tequila

orange liqueur
Triple Sec, Cointreau, or Grand Marnier

fresh lime juice
½
oz
simple syrup or agave syrup
Ice cubes
Sea salt or chili powder
for glass rim
Garnish: small watermelon wedge
lime slice, or fresh mint
Optional: 1 jalapeño slice
for a spicy kick
Frozen version: Use frozen watermelon cubes and extra ice
Instructions
Run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip it in salt or chili powder. Set aside.
Blend watermelon cubes until smooth, then strain to remove pulp.
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz tequila, 1 oz orange liqueur, 1 oz lime juice, ½ oz syrup, and 2 oz watermelon juice.
Add ice and shake well until chilled (about 15 seconds).
Strain into your prepared glass filled with fresh ice.
Garnish with a watermelon wedge or lime slice.
(Optional) For spice, muddle a jalapeño slice in the shaker before adding liquids.
(For frozen) Blend frozen watermelon with other ingredients and ice until slushy.
