Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur like Kahlua
  • 1 oz heavy cream or half and half
  • 1 oz espresso optional, for stronger coffee flavor
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  • Fill a rocks glass with plenty of ice cubes.
  • Pour in the vodka and coffee liqueur over the ice.
  • Add the espresso shot if using.
  • Stir gently with a bar spoon.
  • Slowly pour the heavy cream or half and half over the top.
  • Let the cream float for a layered look, or mix for a creamy blend.
  • Optional: froth the cream before adding for extra texture.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

Use cold ingredients for the best taste. Heavy cream gives a richer texture, while half and half is lighter. Espresso intensifies the coffee flavor. Garnish with cocoa or cinnamon for a twist.
