Equipment

  • Large glass pitcher (2-quart capacity)
  • Sharp knife and cutting board
  • Long-handled wooden spoon
  • Wine glasses for serving
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Fine mesh strainer (optional)

Ingredients

  • 2 bottles 750ml each dry white wine like Pinot Grigio
  • 4 ripe white peaches sliced
  • 1 orange thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup peach schnapps
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup
  • 1 cup club soda
  • Fresh mint sprigs for garnish
  • Ice cubes for serving

Instructions

  • Slice the white peaches, orange, and lemon into thin pieces.
  • Add the fruit to a large pitcher.
  • Pour in the white wine, peach schnapps, and simple syrup.
  • Stir gently with a wooden spoon to combine.
  • Place the pitcher in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours to let the flavors blend.
  • Just before serving, add the club soda and stir once.
  • Fill wine glasses with ice and pour in the sangria.
  • Garnish each glass with fresh mint and fruit from the pitcher.

Notes

Store leftover sangria in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. The fruit may get mushy if kept longer.
Add the club soda right before serving to keep the bubbles fresh.
For a stronger drink, add an extra 1/4 cup of peach schnapps.
Switch up the fruit based on what's in season - nectarines or apricots work great too.
Make ahead tip: Prepare everything except the club soda up to 12 hours in advance.
