  • Highball glass
  • Muddler
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Bar spoon
  • Jigger
  • Strainer
  • Ice scoop or tongs

Ingredients

  • 2 oz white rum
  • 2 oz white cranberry juice
  • 1 oz lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 oz simple syrup or cranberry simple syrup
  • mint leaves 6–8, fresh
  • club soda to top
  • lime wedges for garnish
  • fresh or frozen cranberries for garnish
  • ice cubes to fill the glass

Instructions

  • Muddle mint leaves and two lime wedges in highball glass.
  • Fill glass halfway with ice cubes.
  • Add white rum, white cranberry juice, lime juice, and simple syrup.
  • Shake lightly in cocktail shaker with extra ice.
  • Strain back into the glass.
  • Top with club soda and stir gently.
  • Garnish with lime wedge, mint sprig, and cranberries.

Notes

Use cranberry simple syrup for a deeper berry flavor. Spearmint works best. Frozen cranberries double as garnish and chill without dilution.
