  • Strainer
  • Collins glass or rocks glass
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Small bowl for lime wedges

Ingredients

  • 8-10 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz simple syrup or 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 oz white rum
  • 1 oz white crème de cacao
  • 2-3 oz club soda
  • ice cubes
  • fresh mint sprig for garnish
  • lime wedge for garnish

Instructions

  • Add mint leaves, lime juice, and simple syrup to the shaker.
  • Gently muddle to release mint oils without bitterness.
  • Add white rum and crème de cacao.
  • Add ice and shake for 10–15 seconds.
  • Strain into a glass over fresh ice.
  • Top with club soda and stir gently.
  • Garnish with a mint sprig and lime wedge.

Notes

Use fresh lime juice for brightness. Crushed ice chills quickly and enhances texture. Clap the mint before garnishing to intensify aroma.
