A light, fruity white wine sangria packed with fresh watermelon, peaches, and citrus, lightly sweetened and finished with a bubbly splash—easy to batch for summer gatherings.
1bottlewhite wineSauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, or Moscato
2cupswatermelon cubesor fresh watermelon juice
2white peachesor frozen peach slices
1mangopeeled and diced
1lemonthinly sliced
1limethinly sliced
2tbsphoneyor simple syrup
1/4cupbrandyuse white grape juice for non-alcoholic version
1cupsparkling wateror club soda, to add just before serving
mint leavesfor garnish
Instructions
Slice and dice the watermelon, peaches, mango, lemon, and lime; add to a large pitcher.
Add honey (or simple syrup) and stir gently to coat the fruit.
Pour in the white wine and brandy (or white grape juice for a non-alcoholic version); stir to combine.
Chill for at least 2 hours so the flavors meld.
Right before serving, add sparkling water or club soda for fizz; stir gently.
Ladle into glasses with some fruit in each and garnish with mint leaves.
Notes
Taste before chilling and adjust sweetness as needed. Swap strawberries or pineapple for the mango if desired. Rosé also works well in place of white wine. For the best texture and flavor, serve well chilled and finish the batch the same day.
