Add ice to the shaker and shake for 10-15 seconds until well-chilled.
Strain the mixture into the prepared Collins glass.
Taste and add simple syrup if needed.
Garnish with a lemon wheel and mint sprig.
For homemade lemonade:
Mix sugar with 1 cup hot water until dissolved.
Add lemon juice and remaining cold water.
Stir well and chill before using.
