Ingredients

  • 2 oz white rum
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz mango puree
  • 6-8 fresh mint leaves
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • Club soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Mango slice and mint sprig for garnish

Instructions

  • Add mint leaves and sugar to the cocktail shaker.
  • Muddle gently to release the mint oils.
  • Pour in the rum, lime juice, and mango puree.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake for 10-15 seconds.
  • Strain into a Collins glass filled with fresh ice.
  • Top with club soda and stir gently.
  • Garnish with a mango slice and mint sprig.

Notes

Fresh mango puree works best for this recipe. To make it, blend ripe mango chunks until smooth and strain if needed.
Store-bought mango puree can work as a substitute when fresh mangoes aren't available.
For a mocktail version, replace the rum with coconut water and add a splash of vanilla extract.
Make sure to muddle the mint leaves gently to avoid bitter flavors from over-muddling.
The drink can be made sweeter by adding more sugar or mango puree to taste.
