Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker or large mixing jar
  • Pitcher
  • Measuring jigger or shot glass
  • Long spoon for stirring.
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Strainer
  • Ice scoop or tongs
  • Tall glasses

Ingredients

  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 0.5 cup vodka
  • 0.5 cup coconut rum
  • 0.25 cup peach schnapps
  • 0.25 cup triple sec
  • 2 tbsp grenadine
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup lemon-lime soda
  • fresh strawberries sliced, for garnish
  • fresh kiwi slices for garnish
  • ice cubes

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice cubes.
  • Add the orange juice, pineapple juice, vodka, coconut rum, peach schnapps, triple sec, and lemon juice to the shaker.
  • Shake for about 15 seconds, or until the shaker feels nice and cold.
  • Fill a large pitcher about halfway with ice cubes.
  • Strain the shaken mixture into the pitcher over the ice.
  • Stir in the grenadine, then gently pour in the lemon-lime soda and give it a light stir so you keep some fizz.
  • To serve, fill tall glasses with ice, pour in the Tropical Giggle Juice, and garnish each glass with sliced strawberries and kiwi.

Notes

Chilling the juices and spirits beforehand keeps the cocktail cold and refreshing without needing too much extra ice, which can water it down.
Adjust the sweetness by playing with the grenadine and soda—add a little more grenadine for a deeper color and sweeter finish, or a bit more lemon-lime soda if you want it lighter and fizzier.
For a milder drink, reduce the vodka and coconut rum and replace the difference with extra juice or soda. Add the fresh fruit garnish just before serving so it looks bright and fresh in the glass.
