Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Jigger
  • Strainer
  • Coupe glass
  • Bar spoon
  • Citrus juicer
  • Ice scoop

Ingredients

  • 1 oz gin
  • 1 oz vodka
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz pineapple juice
  • 0.5 oz orange juice
  • 0.25 oz lemon juice
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup
  • 1 tbsp coconut cream
  • crushed ice
  • orange slice for garnish
  • mint sprig for garnish

Instructions

  • Fill the cocktail shaker halfway with crushed ice.
  • Pour in the gin, vodka, fresh lime juice, pineapple juice, orange juice, lemon juice, simple syrup, and coconut cream.
  • Shake hard for about 15 seconds, or until the shaker feels very cold and the mixture looks slightly foamy.
  • Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
  • Add a little extra crushed ice to the glass if you like your drink extra cold.
  • Garnish with an orange slice and a fresh mint sprig, then serve immediately.

Notes

This cocktail tastes best right after shaking so the creamy foam from the coconut cream stays on top and the flavors are brightest.
Use fresh juices whenever possible—bottled citrus can taste flat and overly sweet. If the drink is too tart, add a small splash more simple syrup; if it’s too sweet, squeeze in a bit more lime or lemon juice.
For a lighter, less boozy version, you can skip the vodka or add a little extra pineapple juice instead. A fresh garnish of orange and mint makes the color and aroma really pop.
