Ingredients

  • 1 cup diced green apples
  • 1/2 cup chopped cucumber
  • 1 cup ice cubes add extra for thicker slush
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup or honey, to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup club soda or sparkling water
  • green food coloring optional, for brighter color
  • gummy worms or candy for garnish

Instructions

  • Wash and chop green apples and cucumber into small pieces.
  • Add green apples, cucumber, mint leaves, and ice cubes to the blender.
  • Pour in lime juice and simple syrup or honey.
  • Add a few drops of green food coloring if you want a brighter color.
  • Blend until smooth and slushy.
  • Pour slush into glasses about halfway up.
  • Top with club soda or sparkling water and gently stir.
  • Add gummy worms or candy for garnish. Serve with a straw and drink right away.

Notes

Adjust sweetness or tartness to taste. Freeze fruit ahead for a thicker slush. Sparkling water keeps it lighter; lemon-lime soda makes it sweeter. Gummy worms and candy make it party-ready! For grown-up version, add vodka (optional).
