I like to mix classic tiramisu flavors with vodka and coffee liqueur for a sweet, creamy dessert cocktail. There’s nothing complicated here—just a few tools and ingredients, and you’re set.
Jigger or shot glass – So you don’t eyeball and regret it.
Strainer – To keep ice shards out of your glass.
Martini glass – Because it just feels right.
Grater (optional) – For some fancy chocolate or nutmeg on top.
Spoon or small whisk – For mixing cream or toppings, if you’re feeling extra.
Ice cubes: Gotta keep it cold.
Ingredients
1 ½ozvodkaplain or vanilla
1ozcoffee liqueurlike Kahlúa
1ozIrish cream liqueurlike Baileys
1ozespresso or strong brewed coffeecooled
1ozhalf-and-half or heavy cream
½ozamaretto liqueuroptional, for almond vibes
Ice cubesfor shaking
1tspcocoa powder or chocolate shavingsfor garnish
1ladyfinger cookiefor garnish, totally optional
Instructions
Fill your cocktail shaker about halfway with ice cubes.
Pour in the vodka, coffee liqueur, Irish cream, cooled espresso, and half-and-half.
Add amaretto if you want that extra sweetness or a hint of almond.
Pop the lid on and shake it like you mean it for about 15 seconds.
Strain into a chilled martini glass—don’t let the ice sneak in.
Sprinkle cocoa powder or grated chocolate over the top (looks and tastes good).
Rest a ladyfinger on the rim or just toss it alongside for a little flair, if you’re into that.
Serve right away while it’s nice and cold
Notes
Fresh espresso makes a difference, but honestly, strong coffee works fine if that’s what you’ve got. Vanilla vodka bumps up the dessert factor, but plain is perfectly good too.Half-and-half keeps it creamy without going overboard, while heavy cream gives you that thick, indulgent texture. If you want more coffee punch, add another splash of espresso or coffee liqueur.Amaretto is optional, but I think it really brings the tiramisu vibe. I try not to over-shake because it can get weirdly foamy. Chocolate shavings are a nice touch, and a ladyfinger just makes it feel like a party.
