Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz vodka plain or vanilla
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur Kahlúa, Tia Maria, or similar
  • 1 oz espresso fresh and cooled, or cold brew concentrate
  • 1 oz Irish cream liqueur Baileys or similar
  • 0.5 oz chocolate liqueur like crème de cacao
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp mascarpone cheese
  • 1 tbsp heavy cream or vanilla ice cream
  • ice cubes
  • garnish options cocoa powder, chocolate syrup, coffee beans, ladyfinger, nutmeg, cinnamon

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso, Irish cream liqueur, chocolate liqueur, and simple syrup.
  • Add mascarpone and heavy cream (or vanilla ice cream).
  • Shake well until blended and chilled.
  • Strain into a chilled martini glass using a fine mesh strainer.
  • Garnish with cocoa powder, nutmeg, coffee bean, or ladyfinger as desired.
  • For a chocolate version, drizzle chocolate syrup in the glass before pouring.
  • For a frozen version, blend all ingredients with ice.

Notes

Use fresh espresso for bold flavor. Vanilla vodka or caramel liqueur adds sweetness. Whisk mascarpone with cream before adding for smoothness. Garnish with cocoa, nutmeg, or a ladyfinger for presentation. Adjust strength with more cream or ice cream.
