A tropical Tiki Torch cocktail made with dark and white rum, pineapple, orange, lime, and a drizzle of grenadine, served over crushed ice for a fun island-inspired drink.
Add the dark rum, white rum, pineapple juice, orange juice, and fresh lime juice to the shaker.
Shake well for about 10–15 seconds until the mixture is very cold.
Pack a tiki glass or tall highball glass with crushed ice.
Strain the shaken cocktail into the prepared glass over the crushed ice.
Slowly pour the grenadine down the side of the glass so it settles toward the bottom and creates a layered effect.
Add a dash of bitters on top.
Garnish with a pineapple wedge or cherry and serve immediately while cold.
Notes
Fresh juices make this Tiki Torch cocktail taste brighter and more balanced than using bottled juice, which can be overly sweet or flat.If you prefer a lighter drink, reduce the amount of dark rum or skip the bitters. For a stronger tiki-style cocktail, add a little extra dark rum for more depth and warmth.Since crushed ice melts quickly, serve the drink right after mixing so the flavors stay vivid and not watered down.Try swapping the orange juice for passion fruit juice for a fun twist that still keeps the drink tropical and refreshing.
