Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz gin
  • 0.5 oz crème de violette
  • 0.25 oz maraschino liqueur
  • 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 2 oz sparkling wine, chilled
  • 1 lemon twist or maraschino cherry garnish
  • ice

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add gin, crème de violette, maraschino liqueur, and fresh lemon juice.
  • Shake vigorously until well-chilled (about 10–15 seconds).
  • Double strain into a chilled coupe or flute.
  • Top gently with chilled sparkling wine and give a brief, gentle stir.
  • Garnish with a lemon twist or a maraschino cherry. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a drier profile, use Brut sparkling wine and keep the maraschino liqueur to 0.25 oz. If you prefer more citrus brightness, increase lemon juice slightly to taste. Double straining keeps the cocktail silky and clear.
