  • Long-handled mixing spoon
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Ice cube tray
  • 4 Tall glasses
  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Tea infuser or tea bags

Ingredients

  • 4 cups brewed black tea chilled
  • 1/2 cup rose syrup
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cups sparkling water
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh rose petals for garnish optional
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • 4 lemon wheels for garnish

Instructions

  • Brew the black tea using 4 tea bags in 4 cups of hot water. Let steep for 5 minutes.
  • Remove tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature. Then, place it in the refrigerator until cold.
  • Pour the chilled tea into a large pitcher. Then, add rose syrup and lemon juice.
  • Stir the mixture gently until well combined.
  • Fill each glass halfway with ice cubes.
  • Pour the tea mixture into glasses, filling them 3/4 full.
  • Top each glass with sparkling water.
  • Finally, garnish with fresh mint leaves, rose petals, and lemon wheels.

Notes

Store any leftover tea mixture in the refrigerator for up to 2 days without the sparkling water.
Use food-grade rose petals to ensure they are safe for consumption.
Replace black tea with green tea for a lighter version.
Add more or less rose syrup to adjust the sweetness level.
The recipe serves 4 people and takes about 15 minutes to prepare, plus cooling time.
