Ingredients

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 1 oz fresh tangerine juice
  • 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5 oz honey syrup or simple syrup
  • ice cubes
  • tangerine slice or twist for garnish

Instructions

  • Add bourbon, tangerine juice, lemon juice, and syrup to the shaker.
  • Fill with ice and shake for 15–20 seconds until cold.
  • Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
  • Garnish with tangerine slice or twist.

Notes

Bourbon with vanilla or caramel notes pairs great with citrus. Mandarins or clementines work if tangerines aren’t available. For a lighter version, use less bourbon and more juice. Serve over a big ice cube for best results.
