Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Strainer
  • Jigger or measuring cup
  • Citrus juicer
  • Collins glass
  • Bar spoon
  • Ice

Ingredients

For one serving, gather:

  • 2 oz freshly squeezed tangerine juice
  • 1 oz elderflower liqueur
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 4 oz club soda
  • Ice
  • Tangerine slice and mint sprig for garnish

Fresh tangerine juice gives the best flavor. If unavailable, orange juice can work as a substitute. Adjust the simple syrup to taste, depending on the sweetness of your juice.

Instructions

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add tangerine juice, elderflower liqueur, and simple syrup to the shaker.
  • Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds to chill and mix ingredients.
  • Strain the mixture into a Collins glass filled with ice.
  • Top with club soda and gently stir with a bar spoon.
  • Garnish with a tangerine slice and mint sprig.
  • Serve right away to enjoy the fizzy texture and fresh flavors.

Notes

This recipe can be easily scaled up for parties. Prepare the juice mixture in advance and add club soda just before serving.
For a non-alcoholic version, replace elderflower liqueur with elderflower syrup or cordial.
Try different citrus juices like grapefruit or blood orange for variety.
Adjust sweetness by changing the amount of simple syrup used.
