For one Strawberry Sunrise Spritz, gather:
3-4fresh strawberries
1ozvodka
1/2ozlemon juice
1/2ozsimple syrup
2ozprosecco
Club soda
Ice
Strawberry slice and lemon twist for garnish
Fresh strawberries give the best flavor.
Instructions
Wash and hull strawberries. Put them in the shaker.
Muddle strawberries gently to release juice.
Add vodka, lemon juice, and simple syrup to the shaker.
Fill shaker with ice and shake for 10-15 seconds.
Strain into a tall glass filled with ice.
Pour in prosecco and top with a splash of club soda.
Stir gently with a bar spoon.
Garnish with a strawberry slice and lemon twist.
Serve right away while the drink is cold and bubbly.
