Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup or rosemary simple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice or fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5 cup strawberry puree optional for stronger flavor
  • 1 cup sparkling water, club soda, or ginger ale
  • ice cubes
  • mint leaves, raspberries, lemon or lime slice for garnish, optional
  • lemon-lime soda for a sweeter twist, optional

Instructions

  • Muddle the strawberries and rosemary in the bottom of a pitcher or mixing glass.
  • Add lime or lemon juice and simple syrup, then stir together.
  • Strain if you want a smoother drink without any pulp.
  • Fill glasses with ice.
  • Pour the strawberry mixture over the ice.
  • Top with sparkling water, club soda, ginger ale, or lemon-lime soda.
  • Stir gently so you don’t lose the fizz.
  • Garnish with mint, raspberries, or a rosemary sprig if desired. Serve right away while still bubbly.

Notes

Fresh strawberries give the best flavor. Rosemary simple syrup brings a stronger herbal note—just simmer equal parts sugar and water with a rosemary sprig. Adjust sweetness or citrus to taste. For a softer herbal flavor, use less rosemary or add more mint. Frozen strawberries work if you blend them into a puree. Serve immediately for best fizz and color.
