Equipment

  • Cutting board and knife
  • Citrus juicer
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Mixing pitcher
  • Bar spoon or long spoon
  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Coupe glass or tall glass
  • Ice cube tray

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 0.5 cup passion fruit pulp or 3/4 cup passion fruit juice
  • 0.5 cup pineapple juice
  • 0.5 cup orange juice
  • 0.25 cup lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1 cup club soda or soda water
  • 2 tablespoons sweetener (sugar, honey, or agave) adjust to taste
  • optional: 1/4 cup non-alcoholic tequila for extra depth
  • ice cubes for serving

Instructions

  • Add sliced strawberries to a pitcher and muddle gently to release juice.
  • Pour in passion fruit pulp or juice, pineapple juice, orange juice, and lime juice.
  • Add coconut water and sweetener. Stir until dissolved.
  • If using non-alcoholic tequila, add now.
  • Add ice cubes and pour in club soda. Stir gently to combine and keep the bubbles.
  • Strain into coupe or tall glasses for a smoother drink if desired.
  • Garnish with strawberry slice or lime wheel. Serve immediately.

Notes

Taste strawberries first and adjust sweetener as needed. Use passionfruit pulp for a stronger tang, or juice for a lighter sip. Mix juices ahead and add club soda just before serving for maximum fizz. Fancy coupe glasses make this a show-stopper, but any tall glass works. Freeze strawberry slices into ice cubes for bonus color and chill.
