Ingredients

  • 1 cup pink moscato wine chilled
  • 0.5 cup strawberry soda cold
  • 2 scoop vanilla ice cream
  • fresh strawberry slices optional, for garnish
  • whipped cream optional, for topping

Instructions

  • Pour chilled pink Moscato into a tall glass until about halfway up.
  • Add one scoop of vanilla ice cream and let it float.
  • Slowly pour in the strawberry soda until almost to the top.
  • Top with the second scoop of ice cream and let it foam slightly.
  • Garnish with whipped cream and strawberry slices if desired. Serve immediately with a straw and spoon.

Notes

Keep ingredients well chilled so the float stays frosty. Pour soda slowly to control foam. For a lighter version, swap some or all soda with sparkling water. For a stronger wine flavor, increase the Moscato and skip the whipped cream. Freezing the glass for a few minutes helps it stay cold longer.
